Wills & Estates
To have a valid will is very important as it lets you direct how your assets should be distributed. If a person dies without a valid will his/ her assets will be distributed in terms if the Intestate Succession Act, meaning that your assets will not necessarily go to the beneficiaries that you has in mind. It can also cause unnecessary delays in the winding up of the estate.
Our services include:
- Drafting of wills;
- Estate Reporting to the Master of the High Court;
- Awarding assets in terms of the will to the nominated beneficiaries or if the deceased died without a will in terms of the law of succession;
- In case of minor heirs, attending to the depositing of their monies in the Guardian Fund.
